SHORT VERSION:

Alexis is an award-winning entrepreneur, with two software businesses and a consulting practice, serving over 600 organizations around the world, including well known brands such as 3M, Asahi, Fitness First, Google, Pepsi, Sony, and Swarovski.

LONGER VERSION:

Alexis always wanted to be either a comedian, or a business owner like his childhood hero, Richard Branson.

After being booed off stage when telling jokes at a school talent show, Alexis started his first business aged 12 — four years earlier than Branson!

However, Alexis then failed to grow any of his six(!) businesses all the way through school and University.

His early failures lead to him fear hiring people and so he nearly gave up completely. Even his wife and mother were telling him to wake up and let go of the dream.

Fast forward 10 years, Alexis is now an award-winning entrepreneur, with two software businesses and a consulting practice, serving over 600 organizations around the world, including well known brands such as 3M, Asahi, Fitness First, Google, Pepsi, Sony, and Swarovski.

Alexis is passionate about freeing up time for business leaders so they can spend it on what matters most.

Through his work as Founder of AirManual, Alexis has saved 1,000s of hours of time for business owners and their leaders each year, enabling them to unlock business’ growth, and scale with less stress.

In his own businesses, he has removed himself from day-to-day operations, allowing him to go on a 6-week road trip across Europe whilst his businesses continued to operate and grow.

History

I started my entrepreneurial journey before even becoming a teenager. Selling newsletters, washing cars, building computers, providing IT support... I started business after business, even while studying Management Science at University, because I couldn't work out how to scale them.

I became a Management Consultant to learn how big businesses scale, and learned the answer: People and Processes.

However, I was told by a manager that I'd never be able to build a team because I'd be a horrible manager. I didn't have the people skills.

I believed him, so when I left, I tried to set up businesses that didn't need people. But it didn't work — they couldn't grow or operate without me.

When my first employee quit, I learned during her exit interview that she felt we didn't have a good culture, processes or ways of working.

My family and friends encouraged me to give up building businesses and stick with what I was good at — business process consulting.

I refused to give up.

Over the course of the next few years, I got smart about how businesses need to be run, often using 'processes' to solve 'people' challenges...

The impact?

I have now have two software businesses and a consulting practice with 7-figure revenues and global team of super happy people, that do not require me day-to-day in the business — I can focus my time on growth, or take significant time off to be with family!

Sadly I know so many business leaders stuck where I was...

So it's now my mission to show business leaders how to build and use amazing processes and onboarding so that they can delegate effectively, support their team's development, and achieve more with less stress.
